Charlie Duggan |
City Manager, City of Auburn |
Charlie Duggan, Auburn City Manager, addressed the Auburn Rotary Club. Duggan gave an overview of the city's recent survey of Auburn's citizens concerning the level of satisfaction with Auburn city services and general livability. Auburn's full-time population has reached an estimated 51,000 residents, not including the Auburn University students. More than 97 percent of the citizens surveyed are pleased with Auburn as a place to reside and raise a family. Citizens are particularly pleased with the city schools. Duggan also talked about some of the recent additions to the landscape in Auburn. A new city park, tennis complex in partnership with Auburn University, and Auburn's soon-to-be-completed fifth fire station were featured in his presentation. |
