WaCaDa Safety Campaign

Brandy Ezelle, traffic engineer for the City of Auburn, addressed Rotarians about a traffic safety campaign in Auburn called WaCaDa—Walk and Cycle and Drive Alike.

During the week of April 2 through 6, the City of Auburn and Auburn University partnered to bring Auburn residents the first-ever Safety Week. WaCaDa is designed to remind Auburn residents that we all walk, cycle and drive alike. A mutual respect for others on the road and safety rules will create a better and safer Auburn for everyone.

She also spoke about some traffic and safety issues and steps the City of Auburn is taking to make the roadways, bike/pedestrian paths safer for everyone.
