Ashley Umbach spoke to Rotarians about her blog she calls "My Tiny Kingdom." Umbach explained that blogs are Web journals where people across the world post thoughts and feelings about their view of the world. She said she has always enjoyed writing, and several friends she emailed her life stories to encouraged her to find a larger forum. Umbach said she bases most of her twice weekly blog columns on events in her life and tries to make them a story rather than a basic diary.
