Former Auburn Mayor Jan Dempsey spoke to the Auburn Rotary Club about the proposals the Urban Core Task Force has made about future development of Downtown Auburn. Development requirements for height, setback, step-back, materials, colors, glazing, signage, parking and other standards would provide a setting for commercially active retail space mixed with office and residential spaces. The height of a building is not to exceed 66 feet, measured to the top of the roof structure. There are many other suggestions concerning setbacks, step backs, design and materials.
