Auburn Associate Athletic Director Meredith Jenkins spoke to Rotarians about both the recent accomplishments in Auburn Athletics (four national championships during the last year) and also some of the upcoming changes in facilities. Auburn will have a new tennis complex in partnership with the City of Auburn (completion around June 2007), a new video teaching facility at the Auburn University golf course and the recent approval by the Auburn Board of Trustees to design a new coliseum for basketball and other indoor sports.

Coach Karen Hoppa addressed the Rotary Club about the current Women's Soccer team. They are contending for the Western Division Championship and hopefully will continue on into the SEC championship tournament and a possible bid for the NCAA National Championship Tournament.
