John, a recent new member to the club and a first-time Rotarian, serves as legal counsel for Auburn University. He is an Auburn University graduate with a law degree from the University of Alabama. He has been back in Auburn since August 2004, when we accepted his current postion with Auburn. He and his wife have two young children, a boy and a girl. John noted his conviction that government institutions should act like corporate businesses and be good stewards of fund, while also taking advantage of maximizing revues with business contracts.
