New Member Talks

We learned more about three of our newest members through this latest installment of “New Member Talks.”

John Searby, director of operations for Auburn University's Men's Basketball, told the club of his past Rotary activities in high school and college, which included a Rotary scholarship. His past professional experience has included several relocations across the country in his service as a basketball player, coach and athletic director.

Harvey Gosser's career includes past military service and veterinary training. He has led toxicology departments in Tifton, Ga. and Columbia, Mo. Among his many professional accomplishments is the successful completion of a murder investigation and subsequent capture of a man who murdered a dog. Harvey's wife, Barbara, is from Lochapoka and lived in what is now the Rattlin' Gourd.

Greg Ruff serves Auburn University as director of the media resource center for the Business and Engineering Outreach Office. His past educational and professional experience includes time in Alaska (with fellow Rotarian Vince Haneman as his boss). His television experience also includes producing the first Bobby Bowden show.
