Sharry Matthews
Director of Development
Camp ASCCA

Sharry Mathews grew up going to family reunions at Camp ASCCA so it is fitting that she is now the organization's director for development. Sharry attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a degree in journalism. She has lived in Jerusalem, Washington D.C., Missouri, and Jackson, Miss., where she served as regional director for Habitat for Humanity. She and her husband Jahad have a four-year-old daughter Julia, who is apple of her grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Jim Mathews, eye. We are fortunate to have Sharry back in Auburn and serving Camp ASCCA with her many talents.

The Oscar C. Dunn Rotary Environmental Center at Camp ASCCA will provide year-round accessible environmental education opportunities for children and adults with and without disabilities. Educational studies will include land, water, sky and wildlife indigenous to Lake Martin and areas draining into Lake Martin and east Alabama.

Camp ASCCA has currently completed Phase I. Phases II and III are due to be complete in early 2004. Sponsorship opportunities include major displays, various boardwalks, audio/visual and imaging equipment — and much more! You can contact Sharry for more information at 256-825-9226 or info@campascca.org.
