In the face of budget crisis, Sen. Little urged us to give of our time and talents to the worthy community-based projects in our area that will be loosing state funding. Camp ASCCA, the state’s largest camp for the physically challenged, will be losing thousands of dollars during the next two years. Lee County Youth Development Center will also suffer cuts, which will require them recruit more volunteers and gifts to keep the operation running smoothly for our needy youth.

Sen. Little said he was extremely proud of the club’s support of Amendment 1. He also reported that the real hurt will not be felt until next year’s budget has to be written.
