Makeup Information
Rotarians are encouraged to, whenever possible, make
up any absences they incur at their home club. There are a number of local
make-up opportunities. With Rotary Clubs in 166 countries worldwide, there’s
no excuse not to find a meeting place and time that fits your busy schedule.
Use the Rotary International’s Club
Locator to find a make-up opportunity worldwide.
You can also try an online makeup with Rotary
eClub One . A club in District 5450, Rotary eClub touts itself as “the
first chartered Rotary Club meeting on the World Wide Web.” The
club’s make-up program is sanctioned by Rotary International and
was featured in the June 2003 edition of The Rotarian (read
article ). After reading a weekly program posted on the club’s
Web site and answering a few questions about the program, the Web site
will generate a make-up form to present to the club secretary. Since Rotary eClub One, other online makeup options are now available, including several in languages other than English.
The club's monthly board meeting, which Auburn Rotarians are always invited to, is also a make-up opportunity. Currently, the board meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 a.m.
